Palomar College Learning For Success


To be eligible for 2021-2022 Palomar Promise, applicants must:
  • Be a first-time college student (units earned through dual/concurrent enrollment are exempt)
  • Be a California resident or from an eligible exempt group (i.e. AB 540 or military dependent)
  • Complete, submit and have on record with Palomar College the Official FAFSA or California Dream Act application; must include the Palomar College school code: 001260.
  • Complete the Palomar Promise application
  • Enroll full-time and maintain a 2.0 GPA
      • Students who have a disability which interferes with taking a full course load may be eligible for accommodations, including a waiver of the 12 unit requirement, through the Palomar College’s Disability Resource Center (DRC).


The Palomar Promise 2021-22 application is now closed. We are no longer accepting applications for 21-22 Palomar Promise.

The 2022-23 Promise application will be available mid-October via the myPalomar student portal.
