Eligibility

To be eligible for 2019-2020 Palomar Promise, applicants must:
  • Be a first-time college student (units earned through dual/concurrent enrollment are exempt)
  • Be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Be a California resident or from an eligible exempt group (i.e. AB 540 or military dependent)
  • Complete, submit and have on record with Palomar College the FAFSA or California Dream Act application
  • Complete the First-Year Experience (FYE) – Palomar Promise application
  • Enroll full-time (a minimum of 12 units) per semester throughout the first year

The deadline for current Promise students to enroll in a minimum of 12 units for Spring 2019 semester is Friday, Jan 4, 2019. Contact the TLC San Marcos at X3931 if you need assistance with registering for classes. We have limited group counseling and registration assistance sessions available through Dec 14th.
