To be eligible for 2019-2020 Palomar Promise, applicants must:
Be a first-time college student (units earned through dual/concurrent enrollment are exempt)
Be a high school graduate or equivalent
Be a California resident or from an eligible exempt group (i.e. AB 540 or military dependent)
Complete, submit and have on record with Palomar College the FAFSA or California Dream Act application
Complete the Palomar Promise application
Enroll full-time (a minimum of 12 units) per semester throughout the first year
Students seeking a waiver of the 12 unit minimum enrollment requirement due to disability-related reasons should contact Palomar College’s Disability Resource Center (DRC), and are expected to enroll in a minimum of 6 units.
