Palomar College Learning For Success


To be eligible for 2019-2020 Palomar Promise, applicants must:
  • Be a first-time college student (units earned through dual/concurrent enrollment are exempt)
  • Be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Be a California resident or from an eligible exempt group (i.e. AB 540 or military dependent)
  • Complete, submit and have on record with Palomar College the FAFSA or California Dream Act application
  • Complete the Palomar Promise application
  • Enroll full-time (a minimum of 12 units) per semester throughout the first year
      • Students seeking a waiver of the 12 unit minimum enrollment requirement due to disability-related reasons should contact Palomar College’s Disability Resource Center (DRC), and are expected to enroll in a minimum of 6 units.
