For nearly 75 years, Palomar College has worked to develop and sustain important relationships throughout the northern region of San Diego County.   It is with these partnerships that we have been able to serve the educational needs throughout the District.

The District is a member of the San Diego and Imperial Counties Community Colleges Association (SDICCCA).  SDICCCA is a unique and collaborative organization of chancellors, superintendents, and presidents, who meet regularly to discuss regional and statewide initiatives that impact the ten community colleges in the region.  In addition, the District works closely with the leaders of California State University San Marcos, San Diego State University, University of California San Diego, National University, and the University of Redlands, to benefit our students.

The K-12 school districts in our region provide consistent guidance on the needs of their students so that we can address the needs of our future leaders in the region through our concurrent and dual enrollment programs.   K-12 school districts in the region include:

  • San Marcos Unified School District
  • Vista Unified School District
  • Escondido Union High School District
  • Fallbrook Union High School District

  • Ramona City Unified School District
  • Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District
  • Julian Union High School District
