Religious Studies

The academic study of religion is the multi-disciplinary effort to learn about the diverse elements of behavior, understanding, and organization associated with religious traditions.  The discipline at Palomar College focuses on learning about major traditions and forms of religion globally and particularly related to life in the United States.  The curriculum for courses in Religious Studies is intended to develop essential skills for living and working in contexts of increasingly international character, for exploration of the diversity of humanity, and to prepare students to be global citizens.”
