  • Add Service Learning to your Syllabi Service Learning can be offered as a requirement, assignment option, or extra credit

  • Assign students a Service Learning Reflection Assignment  The difference between volunteer work and Service Learning is the reflection component, where students connect their experience to what they are learning in class. Use this assignment or create your own

  • Direct Students to the Info For Students section of the Service Learning Website to get registered and submit hours – The Service Learning office keeps record of students Service Learning hours accumulated during their time here at Palomar College. Awards and Recognition are available to students who show a commitment to Service Learning.
