About Student Success & Equity

Palomar College is committed to enhancing educational equity by creating an environment in which each person has a chance to fully develop his or her potential.  Our student equity programming promotes and improves student success through increased support services, student engagement activities, equity dialogue and off-campus learning experiences.

Spring 2018 Palomar College Student Equity Theme – Social Justice

Just Mercy exposes the inequalities within our justice system.  It reminds us that we each have a responsibility to raise our critical consciousness, act purposefully and lead with compassion.  The Palomar College community will continue to be engaged in issues of social justice and equity until we are all truly Better Together.
