Veteran Student Leadership Program

Welcome to the Student Leadership Program at Palomar College!

The Student Leadership Program helps military-affiliated students navigate the academic process, connect to campus resources, and maximize VA education benefits. Upon enrollment, applicants are paired with a Student Leader who serves as a direct point of contact within our Veteran’s Department. These mentors can assist with enrollment, financial aid, university transfer, academic resources, and much more. Remember, you don’t know what you don’t know! We are here to help bridge the gap. Stop by the Veteran’s Resource Center or enroll online today!

Note: Federal privacy laws restrict the type of information we provide on the phone.  We can only provide general information to students regarding their file.  Parents and Spouses are reminded that we cannot provide information about the student without a written release signed by the student authorizing staff to discuss the record.

AB 705 requires community college districts to maximize the probability that a student will enter and complete transfer-level coursework in Math and English within a one-year time frame by utilizing assessment measures that include High School performance to achieve this goal.
