There are so many reasons of why people are feeling forgetful such as a lack of sleep, genetics and lifestyle factors. However, what you eat plays a role in brain health.

Berries contain a rich source of anthocyanin and other flavonoids that boost memory function. Dark berries are especially good such as blackberries, blueberries and cherries. You can eat them as a snack and also mixed into cereal or dried berries.

3. Get Adequate Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Many people might not know a lot about omega-3 fatty acids are docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), but those are really good for improving memory in healthy young adults. Those contain into seafood, algae and fatty fish. For instance, salmon, bluefin tuna, sardines and herring are the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids. If you do not eat fish, you can also get them from fish oil, seaweed or microalgae supplements.

4. Work in Walnuts

Walnuts are well known as great food for hear health, but also they are good for improving working memory. You can take them anywhere and eat them whenever you are hungry. Also, people sometimes add walnuts into oatmeal or salad.
