The Telescope is an independently-produced newspaper guided by a few founding documents and overseen by a student editorial board consisting of all desk and production editors currently serving on the paper.
All decisions about the paper’s direction and mission, and responses to claims of impropriety or other issues, are handled by the newspaper’s editor-in-chief at the editorial board’s direction.
The editorial board makes decisions by majority vote. A full document governing editorial board policy is forthcoming.
