This weeks assignment deals with usability testing. The chapters from the book are on Web Graphics: Inteface Disign, Slices, and Rollovers. Before we actually start designing a web page in Photoshop, we really need to know what its purpose is. So here are some details for your Web Site Project.

What you will do:
Define the purpose of your site. To help determine this, try to answer the following:

Who is your target market or audience? Be specific. Try to answer the following:

What color scheme will you use to appeal to your target audience? What graphic elements, metaphors, and icons are appropriate for your site? How do you plan to incorporate graphics, animation, sound, and other extras such as video into your site? What will be contained in your links, FAQ’s, contact information and site map pages if you use any of these?
