Essays from your editorial group for peer review.
Complete the following writing this week:
1. Your working draft (WD) of essay 3 is due tomorrow, Tuesday. Review the format and requirements for working drafts. Upload it directly to the Pluto server at Palomar by ftp. See the FTP Instructions for how to do this. If you have any problems with ftp, let me know about them and get them resolved before this working draft is due.
2. Your peer review of WD 3. Submit this no later than the end of the day Thursday. Follow the format for Basic Peer Review. Send a copy of your peer review to me and a copy to the writer of the essay. To determine whose essays you should read, skip the name right below yours in your group list, the read the essays of the next two people.
3. Your revised essay 3 is due next Monday. Upload it directly to the Pluto server at Palomar by ftp. See the FTP Instructions for how to do this. Review the format and requirements for revised essays.
You should have completed the following reading last week:
At least two articles not assigned in class that relate to the subject you are considering writing your third essay about.
You should have completed the following writing last week:
1. A trial thesis statement and summary of what you hope to say in your essay and a correct works cited entry and summary or abstract on at least two articles that you might use as evidence in your second essay.
2. Replies to each of the postings with your analysis and criticism of the thesis statements and the articles.
