How’d
these guys get so smart?
They talk about drinking like its fine art;
They clean up their act, and then they spread the word,
Like preachers they drug the herd;
Through the sins of a lifetime,
Let’s relive it one more day;
Let’s immerse ourselves, once more in the horror,
There, see, it’s all gone away;
The answer is simple; just don’t pick up a drink,
Hell why didn’t I think of that;
I’ve wasted so much time,
Inflicted and felt so much pain,
It wasn’t right there, in front of me;
Out of the mouths of drunks,
How cools I not see?
